To be perfectly honest, I've been wondering what all to do with this blog. As most of you know, I have spent my first six months blogging about TV shows(Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order SVU) and reviewing a couple books. This blog was originally created to review and share. I wanted this blog to take on many different topics, but I fell into the rut of only doing TV show reviews, which doesn't seem to make a very....
interesting.....blog. I also realized, in the month of May, when SVU took the extremely long hiatus, that reviewing TV shows has its limits. TV shows go on breaks, and if I only rely on them for content in my blogs, then during the summers, I won't have much to write about because that's when filming happens for the main shows that I review.
Before you worry about this becoming a personal, "let me stand on a soapbox and tell you the stories of my life" blog, I promise it will not become that. Living Life As Me was created with a purpose, one that I thought I was sure of, but now only doing TV shows sounds completely and utterly boring. Instead, I considered making this blog a passion based blog. My summer is busy, as I am leaving for Portugal for two weeks in a few days, and then I begin an internship with a law firm and a springboard diving clinic(hopefully). I would also like to begin focusing this blog towards writing too. My best friend, Sofia Li(her blog is Loving the Language of Literacy if you want to check her out), instilled in me a love for writing poetry, and I would love to begin sharing that on this blog. Come September 21, I will begin writing my SVU and Grey's reviews when the shows kick back up again, but for now, I want to see where instigating this change takes me. Living Life As Me will always exist as a place for TV show reviews when the seasons are going, but I want it to become something different, and I want it to become something built on passion, rather than a weekly TV show that goes on break during the summer. Don't get me wrong, SVU and Grey's will remain my passion in the TV screen, but I want to explore what other things are out there for me to write about on here. Expanding my horizons on here is a new passion for me, and I encourage you to bear with me as I try to work this blog into something new and exciting.
